Busy Fall

Ginger Thatcher is currently Associate Choreographer/ Assistant Director for the musical “Little Dancer,” which premiered on London’s West End on July 27, 2025, with Susan Stroman Director/Choreographer.  She recently staged Susan Stroman’s “Take Five More or Less” for the St. Louis Ballet, which opened on October 11, 2025.  She is now staging the full length “Othello” by Lar Lubovitch for American Ballet Theater, opening on March 6,2026. Ginger has been commissioned to create a new ballet for Ohio Contemporary Ballet for the Fall of 2026. She has been Rehearsal Director for the Joffrey Ballet, Chicago, under Ashley Wheater, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet, under Desmond Richardson, and Dwight Rhoden.

5th Avenue Productions – Broadway-Bound!

Ginger is currently Associate Choreographer for Susan Stroman for the 5th Avenue Productions Broadway bound show, Marie, which was previously known as Little Dancer.

Best Choreography Nomination

Ginger recently choreographed the musical Oklahoma (based on the revival of Oklahoma, Susan Stroman, Choreographer) for Ogunquit playhouse for which she received a Best Choreography nomination.
